Chapter 55 is out! \^^/ As usual, I've got lots to talk about, such as the fact that Ouri-sama is apparently Sara's fiance. I'm very curious about him now, since he, in Sara's own words, treats her as a little girl. Does he look like a mature man or is he a pretty-looking guy (who only seems young)? I'm also glad that Takuma doesn't act like Sara's brainwashed doll: his mind is fully intact and he honestly likes her, even though he's still her prisoner. ^^; Hehe, Vampire Knight is kinky like that. I'm not even particularly interested in Takuma, yet this is just lovely. Oh, and Yuuki is being awesome, if also somewhat reckless, again. I adore this girl so much. Her and her cute relationship with Yori-chan. This month's LaLa cover features Yuuki with Zero, and it's a very beautiful image - I'd like to get a textless version of it somewhere.

Chapter 54 is out! I really want to thank Sagakure-san for her terrific work, but I keep getting error messages while trying to post my comment. ;-; Ah well. In any case, it's a fantastic chapter full of OTP goodness and interesting information about the vampire society, so take a look at it if you're a fan. ( SPOILERS )

Today I went to Kito's district for a walk. I don't go there often enough, but it's a pretty great place, in my opinion. We fed the ducks in a small park-like place! I loved them so much! ♥ They were so cute, they were quacking and racing around the pond and trying to snatch the bits of bread away from each other. ♥ ♥ ♥ It's a shame that we don't have ducks at our place (though we have squirrels). We also visited an anime souvenir market - our other friend's acquaintances organized it and we decided to take a look. I got myself a Rem keychain (sadly, they had no Teru pics) and my friend also bought me a Vampire Knight keychain. All in all, it was really fun.

I really want to draw another doujinshi. ^^; I don't feel like doing my own comic though because I find group art projects more fun (which is odd, I'm not especially fond of group work in general)... but I'd like to draw something for a Baku-man book or a Vampire Knight book. Sadly, Baku-man is a small fandom, and Vampire Knight just doesn't seem to be very... doujinshi-oriented. And of course I'd LOVE to do another Death Note doujinshi because, well, you know.

I'm listening to the Vampire Knight audio dramas! They're really... cute, especially the 2005 Kirameki one, where Yuuki is openly fangirly and Kaname is kind of perverted. ^^; Sagakure-san has a hilarious summary of it here, and there's a download link somewhere in her post, too. They obviously aren't meant to be taken seriously... they'll just make you laugh at the characters' antics. And I love Kaname because he has this odd, quirky sense of humor that bugs the heck out of Zero and makes Yuuki blush, which, to me, is always a good thing.. ^^;;;

...character bashing can be so irritating. ;;; I understand that not all people love Yuuki the way I do, and they don't have to, but seriously, folks, Yuuki's life is not easy (and no, being with Kaname doesn't automatically make it better). She has reasons to feel confused and lost. Let's see: she's not a human being (that alone is terrifying enough, in my opinion); she likes two guys; one of these guys is her enemy now. Heck, she can't even be with Yori-chan and her other normal human friends from school. That... must be really damn hard to deal with, you know? Even a year may not be enough. And it's alright, not all people can get over such things in just a couple of days and move on. ;;; Yuuki is not made of steel, for God's sake. Give her some time, okay? I dunno... there are many fans who don't mind it when Zero gets all emotional, but apparently, Yuuki is not allowed to do the same. =.=;

Chapter 52 inspired me so much that I sat down and wrote a short Kaname x Yuuki ficlet. ^^ It's funny, Vampire Knight is my 3rd favorite fandom after Death Note and Baku-man, but I rarely write for it... this is my first drabble, in fact (I also have some unfinished drafts in my folder, but they don't count). Anyway, this is a fluffy and light-hearted take on the events of chapter 52. Unfortunately, I'm bad at writing angst, even though I love drama, so you'll have to deal with my odd sense of humor. Oh, and Kaname is a total uke here. It doesn't make him less of a manipulator, however. And Yuuki is an innocent seme. Okay, I'll stop spamming you now, sorry. As usual, I hope that my English is decent enough!

I was worried about chapter 52 at first, but now it's okay and I'm perfectly happy with it! ^^ It's... not that I don't trust Kaname, I just love Yuuki too much and I always get super paranoid when I see her sad face on some untranslated scans. ;;; Nobody is allowed to hurt her (physically OR emotionally)... even Kaname. =.=; And Kaname had reasons to feel at least somewhat jealous in this chapter, so I was slightly concerned about his relationship with Yuuki. Kaname does have a mild yandere streak (which contrasts with Zero's tsundere personality), you've got to be cautious around him! But... nah, it seems that I need to believe in Kaname more and I apologize for my weak faith. ^^;;; He IS a total masochist, he even says that he wants Yuuki to hurt him. But really, Kaname and Yuuki are such a dramatic pair of siblings. I agree with Sagakure-san's comments, they both have huge self-esteem issues - Kaname thinks that he doesn't deserve Yuuki's love and Yuuki feels the same about Kaname. Poor kids. But this chapter was good for them because they actually managed to talk about some important things, Yuuki bit Kaname with her own fangs and... stopped fretting over everything? She looked much more confident and calm in the end.

Chapter 52 hasn't been translated yet... but the raw scans are out and I'm somewhat concerned. @.@; I don't understand most of the words, so I'm not sure about anything, but... gah, Kaname looks creepy and Yuuki looks unhappy. KANAME-SAMA... much as I love you, I don't want you to hurt Yuuki. x.x;;;

Yesterday we went to the beach (for the second time this summer!) and Kito brought us our huge manga package. Heh... group orders are awesome because you can get something for yourself and look at other people's books for free. Anyway, I got my 3 new books (Baku-man, Vampire Knight and Natsume Yuujinchou) and flipped through my friends' manga. I also received the payment for my, er... random freelance work. ^^ I have to thank Kito for this, too. ♥ Greed is my favorite Fullmetal Alchemist character for a very good reason, yes. I'll probably waste it very soon, but right now it looks so nice in my wallet... ≧∇≦ Alright! Let's look for other money-making strategies! \*∆*/ Oh, and Vampire Knight is just too pretty with its Yuuki x Yori cover, and so is Natsume Yuujinchou, and Baku-man, well - I finally have a book with lots and lots of fantastic Eiji-centric scenes in it! Hmm... Oh, yeah, I saw episode 2 of Aoi Hana today. I won't blog about this series regularly (I'm afraid I'm too lazy and unorganized for proper anime-blogging), but I definitely will fangirl about it from time to time because it's beautiful and I love Akira to death.

I downloaded a DVD rip of Twilight from our local P2P network and watched it during supper. Hey, I had to relax after several hours of freelance work! The movie was... slightly more entertaining than the book. Edward and Bella's interaction felt awkward and some scenes creeped me out majorly, but overall, it was... amusing? And I liked Alice. She was pretty and rather charming. Heh, I have a feeling that most people like Alice even if they aren't exactly crazy about Twilight in general. Oh, and I... loved the woods around Forks. I'd like to take a walk at such a place (...not with Edward though; his sparkly skin makes me think of various icky diseases and... not sex, sorry). We have woods here where I live, too, but they're different, and what's worse, they're getting cut down... =.=; but that's a whole another story, I'll rant about it later. Hmm... now I want to work on my original vampire stories again. I don't read that much vampire fiction (I only really like Vampire Knight and Dracula, as well as various movie adaptations of Dracula, preferably parodies), but I do love vampires as mythological creatures, and my own stories... well, I'm not planning to write them down anytime soon, but they're just fun to think about. By the way, my vampires are not undead humans; they're a different species, so you can't get turned into a vampire in my universe.

I borrowed several episodes of Sengoku Basara from my friend's collection and took a look at Sagakure-san's spoilers for Vampire Knight chapter 51 today. I enjoyed the beginning of Sengoku Basara greatly... I'll continue it by all means! *.* It's full of hot-blooded men, twisted historical references and ODA NOBUNAGA ♥ general sexiness. And Vampire Knight deserves its own post, so I'll write about it later as usual. Expect a lot of Yuuki fangirling. *ω*

...I wasted the whole afternoon on this. Eh. But Yuuki fills me with so much moe, I love just looking at her (even if it's my mediocre art >.>;;;). Oh, and my mother likes this picture for some reason. That's nice, she's not a huge fan of manga style, so it means a lot to me. And I guess it's my best Vampire Knight pic so far. It features Yuuki with short hair. It's funny, I actually prefer Yuuki with long hair, but this time I simply felt like drawing her with her old hairstyle. She also reminds me of K-On's Yui here, but that's... not intentional. ( PICTURE )

I'M DONE. \*.*/ Yes. I've finished the doujinshi! It's pointless and short, only 6 pages long (and not 7... well, it just works better this way, I swear to God it's not only because of my laziness ;;;), but. Um. It's a fluffy comic about Teru and Kiyomi! And Kiyomi is a total seme in it, too! ♥ Although it's nothing to be proud of, I'm happy. I've always wanted to do something like that. Now... I can take a break from Teru and Kiyomi and draw someone else! ^^;;; Don't worry, I love them, but... variety is a good thing, too, isn't it? I really need to do some fanart of Eiji and Yuuki and Kajika and other great people. ♥ Oh, and speaking of Death Note... these Nendoroid Puchi photos are SO CUTE! ♥ ♥ ♥ ≧∇≦ I especially love the Rem + Misa picture since it's one of my yuri OTPs. ^^; MISA IS ADORABLE. Will it be possible to buy Misa and Rem as separate figures and not as parts of a big set? I-I don't feel like spending money on Light, sorry. Argh, I want Arc II figures, too! >ω< Puchi!Teru with tiny glasses could be so sweet. ;-; P-please make him?

Predictably enough, I enjoyed chapter 50 immensely. It contained many nice moments with Yuuki, Kaname and Zero, and Aidou made a cameo as Yuuki's demanding private tutor. Now that was really funny. I also giggled when Aidou Sr. interrupted Yuuki and Kaname's fantastically fluffy reunion and Hanabusa all but died on spot. And, well, I loved Yuuki's flashback, which was both sexy and tragic. ( SPOILERS )

Chapter 49 left me breathless. Kaname's hand didn't grow back in this issue, but there was something else that I enjoyed immensely. ( SPOILERS )
