I found this at somebody's journal. It's a neat survey about books. ( MEME )
I watched the first episode of Nabari no Ou... again, this time with more attention. ^^; Yuuki Kamatani-san, the author of the original Nabari no Ou manga, is only 1 year older than me, IMAGINE THAT o.o; I can't help but envy her a little - she started publishing her story at the age of 21... OH WELL ;-; I have my 10 scientific articles and 1 micro-doujinshi. Sorry, I'm a competitive git with a Creative Inferiority™ complex. The anime is rather nice, though maybe not as outstanding as Death Note or Hikaru no Go (nobody can top Obata-sensei's skills and Teru's divine splendor! *.* - yeah, I'm loyal to my idols), but I'm planning to download the whole series and screencap the hell out of it.
The final chapter of volume 17 is so insanely heartbreaking (...well, for me). YOU ARE EVIL, HOTTA-SENSEI. ;.; But I love your type of sadism. >.>
I'm reading Hikaru no Go. It's... totally brilliant. Like. I dunno. It has everything. Great art (although the earlier volumes are a bit simplistic... but the illustrator is Obata-sensei himself!), awesome characters, wonderful development. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH EVERYONE. I don't have any OTPs, since the story is ultimately about professional growth and rivalry and such things, and it's fascinating. Okay, Akari's crush on Hikaru is adorable and I sort of support them by default? But that's it.
